Two die in three-vehicle crash in Folsom
Two people were killed in a three-car accident in Folsom Saturday night.
Police said that shortly after 6:45 p.m., a four-door sedan carrying three people northbound on Folsom Boulevard was struck head on by a southbound car that crossed the center divider. A northbound van then struck the sedan from behind.
The driver and one of the passengers in the sedan were killed and the third passenger was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, said Sgt. Jason Browning, spokesman for the Folsom Police Department.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, but Browning said that police believe that drugs may have played a role in the initial collision.
No arrests have been made. The driver of the first vehicle that crossed into oncoming traffic was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

I'm curious as to why you provided a link to this topic in this topic.
I'm thinking maybe you meant to post a different link.
One of the moderators combined threads. Homer posted about a Nixle email from the police department and asked if we knew what it was about so I posted the link to an already existing thread. Moderators should delete it.

Apparently he lives down the street from us. Fox 40 stopped in front of our house while hubby was out asking if we knew the right house. We don't know the family.
So tragic...
