Art Appreciation, Discussion - Art Images Options

The graffiti discussion in another thread got me thinking. What constitutes art? I know, old discussion and very subjective, but I thought I'd start a thread for discussing it and sharing of art imagery.

If Michaelangelo had painted his infamous murals on a wall in the park, would it have been objectionable? :)

I like this one by Salvador Dali. Saw the original at MOMA in NY. Thoughts? Comments? Magritte is another favorite of mine.
