Public intoxication - 46 Natoma Street -Gary Hanley, 26, contacted at location. Arrested for 647(f) PC. Booked to Sacramento County Jail

So--Don't you think it kinda obvious if you get drunk at the cop shop they might notice?

That's like peeing in the biggest rottweiler's backyard, in all of Folsom, and wondering why you just got your butt chewed!!!

Must be a typo. But sure makes for funny reading.

Here's another:

Occurred 01-20-12, between 1115-1215 hours. Suspect vehicle struck another vehicle and fled.

So vehicles flee? Teeeheeee......who knew they were self-aware?

I thought it was funny when I read about my boss getting a DUI. True Story, but it happened > 10 years ago.

The guy probably got drunk at that bar that's across the street. You know what they say, stupid is as stupid does.

I saw one years ago that said something along the lines of:

"8:45 AM - Alzheimer's patient reported missing."
"9:00 AM - Patient found wandering on Memory Lane."

Granted the alzheimer's facility was located on Memory Lane, but the accidental play-on-words was a riot.

I haven't read it in years, but I remember Arcata, CA having a very humorous police log. In fact, thinking back, it may be a parody. But then again, it's Arcata, so maybe not.

The Arcata Eye has been running those long enough that if it were a parody, they'd have run out and lost interest by now.

Folsom Police Logs

http://www.folsom.ca...log/default.asp
A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-
