IKEA West Sacramento announced today that the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary was the winner of its Life Improvement grant. The zoo one over two other local charities thanks to folks texting in their votes! Way to go Folsom! The award of $10,000 will be used in collaboration with IKEA to upgrade the school house and to create some new educational signage.

Great news - they can use the grant ! Will the school house now have IKEA furniture ? That might cost some to put it together

Great news - they can use the grant ! Will the school house now have IKEA furniture ? That might cost some to put it together
Actually, my understanding is that IKEA will design the space (with the zoo staff, of course), and install the new furniture as part of the grant award.
