Nice of you to "buy" your boyfriend a kitten but it would have been even more thoughtful to have adopted one of the many homeless cats/kittens at the shelters......they desperately need homes! And, not to preach too much, but I hope to heck your boyfriend really wants a kitten-

I'm guessing the OP is the author who is posting about this book (newly released) on forums hither and yon. Just a guess.

(The original post had the name of the book. I wonder if a moderator removed it...???)

What a great point! Thank you for reminding us. . PS I feel wonderful about the cats we have adopted from the shelter or Petsmart rescue, now that I think about it I have several neighbors who also save cats from shelters/Petsmart. My neighbor just adopted a "hard to adopt" cat due to his color and appearance, I was really proud of her. . .

I edited it. Perhaps I should have just deleted it. When I sense spam from a post, I often google some of the wording, or the name or email of the person who posted it. When I did so in this case, I found several forums with the same post, some of which were identical exept for the type of cat.

Had she said, "Hey, I wrote a book about cats. I hope you'll read it.", I'd have left it alone. Just be honest. Fake testimonials aren't necessary.

Aw, at least it helped remind us to adopt. . .

KathyP's response was that reminder, so I left the post up. I took out reference to the book.
