A little over 1 week ago Steve Art (economic advisor to the City of Lincoln, CA) was looking for the number to Ms Teaz in Folsom; hence, he called the Folsom Chamber of Commerce. He was able to find the number; however, when he called he had a story to share when he called us. Turns out that the "woman" (who we're withholding the info for reasons) stated to Steve that Ms Teaz is not the sort of place that should be visited without his asking for her input. Think this unethical? A couple of days ago we placed "Ms Teazz" personalized plates on our new Honda. Today we were greeted in our parking place in front of the Chamber (on Wool) with a deep keying into the paint 3/4 around our car. Unfortunate that we had to pull in Folsom PD to take the report; however, the up side was that someone came forward to share some info with us... The law will deal severely with these people and charma as well. With a small deductible - who are they really hurting anyway if they had gotten away with it?

We honestly find that it is the people who "had never visited the shop" for themselves (statement taken directly from Folsom Tribune - http://www.folsomtel...sts/04self.txt).
It appears only the individuals who still hold grudges and negative comments have yet to meet us - so it's not too difficult to guess who still has too much free time on their hands to vandalize and slander.

I'm sorry to hear about the keying of your car. Even if someone doesn't like your shop, that was a wrong and cowardly act. I hope they do catch whoever did it.

I too am sorry to hear of awful act, sounds immature. I must say I have visited your shop, not impressive but not offended either. Also have to give you a little credit on always keeping your name out there somehow to get free advertising. boohoo.gif

I'm sorry your car got keyed... that is immature to say the least.
As far as the comment from the Chamber of Commerce, I find that quite alarming and disappointing.

Sorry to hear about the disappointing incident......people should stop playing cowardly games and face their disappointments in life with civility.

I admire your perseverance on the issues you face.

I say we buy one of those blow-up party dolls and hang it on the outside of the building with an American flag and some kind of Bush-bashing comment.
It would generate nationwide attention, be free advertising for Ms. Teaz, and that would really bring in the business for old Sutter Street!

Whaddya Say?!

Yes, I apologize for being obscure.
The attempt was to inject a little humor . . . a common device for relieving stress in anxious situations. My condolences to the shop owner. I will show my support by shopping there.
Now let me write to the New School for Standup Comics, and see if I can get my money back. cool.gif

Thank you all VERY much for the positive words. We both have to say that we have been very happy with all the great people in Folsom as well as the crowds attracted to Sutter Street; moreover, we want to thank the merchants who were witness to the incident and gracious enough to step forward and share. We were even fortunate enough to meet with the proprietor for Lockdown Brewing Company recently (who by coincidence we worked closely with in our previous profession) - a very stand-up guy - thank you for the personal message today.

Does this place by any chance have anything other than female stuff? I'd like to show my support, but i don't want to waste my money on a thong.

Do you sell other stuff, something a 18 year old guy would want? (Something, not for my non-existent girlfriend.)

Sucks about your car, sad that people don't know how to express their emotions in a non-violent way.

It's a terrible thing that your car got vandalized. There are many people here perhaps feel that you are not welcome here in Folsom.

People who vandalize are not welcome by anyone. If you don't like someone vandalizing their property is not and will never be acceptable.
