I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation of a Pediatrician in the Folsom Kaiser? We are going to have our first child in late Aug., but wanted to get a head start on finding a good doctor for him/her. Thanks in advance.

Our kids' doctor (technically an NP) there is Susan Jonas. She's awesome.

We've had Dr. Camfield too for a while now. Its been ok but my girls are alittle intimidated by her. She can be snappy and short. Ive considered changing but have yet to do it. She knows our history and has take care of their needs.

We used to have Dr. Cullen and when she retired we were assigned to her replacement. She is very young and misdiagnosed my daughter twice this year when she had pnuemonia. We have since switched to Susan Jonas and absolutely love her. She is professional, and really good with my daughter.

I have been recommended NP Susan Jonas as well earlier.

Dr Miranda is our baby's Pediatrician ... too early to say how Dr. Miranda is but would be great if someone could add experience with him as well.

Thanks for starting this thread!

Dr. Wise is pretty good, and so is Dr. Choudri. Dr. Choudri has been there for a long time too. :)

We have been seeing Dr. Miranda & love him. We like that he does not prescribe meds at the drop of a hat. Responds to emails very quickly ( usually in an hour). And when my son had wheezing, he called us right late in the evening and had us there till he was absolutely sure he was doing better. He has small kids and understands where we come from
