Is it it where the ole Z-Pizza place was? I know Z-Pizza didn't last, and I think it tried again under another name that didn't last either. I looked over the menu and I'm not into that kind of pizza, I prefer your basic heart attack on a crust type pizza, lots of red sauce, lots of cheese, and lots of meat.I found a flyer in my mailbox today for Girasole Pizza advertised as "authentic artisan pizza". It looks kind a good. It appears to be over in the same corner as Visconte's. Anyone been there yet?

Ordered a pizza to go over the phone and when I got there 15 minutes later was told it would be right up and took my credit card payment. I waited another 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged that there was a problem. Meanwhile, I watched the waitress, with her back to the customers, checking her IPhone a few times up at the counter and in plain sight of everyone. The manager didn't seem to mind. Finally the waitress offered to give me a free salad to go because of the wait and the cook came over to me and said that the dough didn't rise right and that it 'had been happening all day'. They did give me a $20.00 credit handwritten on a menu because they couldn't figure out how to credit my card. I will try it again only because of the credit.
They should have given you cash.

The credit is a good motivator to get the customer go back and try the pizza place again. Hopefully they'll fix their performance because I doubt any business can afford to be giving $20 gifts to make up for poor performance.
If the restaurant wasn't able to give her a pizza they were obligated to return her money. If they couldn't figure out how to credit the card they should have given her cash. I understand that from their perspective they want her to come back, but from the consumer's perspective... well, I'd have demanded my money back.

True. I'm not looking for an argument and just sharing the reason why I thought she got a credit. I thought she ended up getting her pizza after she had to wait a VERY long time so I guess I also misread the post.If the restaurant wasn't able to give her a pizza they were obligated to return her money. Maybe I misread it. I was under the impression that because the chef was having trouble with the dough that she didn't get the pizza.

Phew. Thank GOD. Folsom is desperate for pizza.
I mean, after Pizzeria Classico, Chicago Fire, Chicago Fire 2, Prontos, Ciros, Dominick's, Mountain Mikes, Round Table, Pizza Guys, Papa Johns, Papa Murphy's, Little Ceasers, and BJ's, what else do we REALLY have for pizza?
