I am taking a research and statistics class right now.

My instructor gave me an assignment to get between 10-15 respondents on a list of random statements, due on Monday.

Are there at least 10 people who would be willing to do the survey? I could post it on here and let people respond. Although I would prefer that people only take the survey once, regardless of how many site "handles" they may have.

I didn't see the comments. I do appreciate the people who have responded. I hope to get a few more responses. This is a great random-convenience sampling of a population of 7277 people.

I'm not sure what concerns were mentioned about the methodology of the survey, but I suppose I can shed some light on the survey itself. The class I am taking is an introductory class to research and statistics, meant for 3rd year criminal justice students. Our instructor put 4 words on the board and asked the class to work together to come up with three strong statements that describe the word. Then he asked us to try to come up with a statement for each that either bent in another direction or he asked us to say something in the opposite of what the first statement had been. Finally he put two more words down and asked us to come up with a statement that would evoke an in immediate response about those two words.

Now we have been assigned to each pursue sampling and bring it into our next class. I believe we will then combine our responses and present the statistical analysis to our instructor in teams. In a way: I believe he is giving us the opportunity to undertand how qualitative study and meta analysis work (in a small study, obviously- since this will only be a few hundred people). To be honest; this is a subject I have absolutely zero knowledge on; prior to taking this class--so the language is just as challenging as the math. Needless to say, I am loving this class!
