So where exactly are they going to have these concerts? I don't see any particularly large open area or grass area in the mall for seating. I've been to something like this at The Fountains and it was difficult to get a good seat but it was ok.
Yeah I know. I am not sure but it sounds like fun!

I emailed the Palladio with this question and will post back if I get a response.

Has the City signed off on all special event permits that are needed?

I think the concerts may be in the piazza area.

Is the Roseville Galleria or the EDHs Town Center paying for this?
Has the City signed off on all special event permits that are needed?
Robert, why would the Galleria or town center pay for it? actually its competition for then. And isn't that all on private property? I don't think they would need a permit if they're just playing music on their own property.

Have you ever seen a lineup of entertainment like this at the Galleria or EDH's TC or at TCITP? I don't recall that happening and suspect there must be reasons why.Robert, why would the Galleria or town center pay for it? actually its competition for then. You must get a permit if you are going to have amplified noise, because amplified noise doesn't stay within that private property. What one might consider entertainment, another ( or many) might consider noise polution. Also, if one was going to host an event and invite the whole region to it, its probably wise to have some sort of mechanism to inform FPD & other componets of public safety about events, so they can be properly staffed to handle potential issues that might arise.
I wonder what Johnny Cash would be saying if he was here today?

I think Palladio hosting entertainment is a great idea. If bringing in entertainmnet is going to cost the city more in costs for police & public safety than what business it brings in, then I'm thinking its not such a good idea.

Sure seems like lots of tribute bands playing in EDH's and how many are scheduled in Folsom?

It's the theme they chose go go with in selecting acts. Folsom planners have different criteria for programming.
