After many attempts our cat finally managed to escape. He was adopted without claws and probably has no idea that outdoor cats have claws. This will put him at a disadvantage during his adventure.
We understad he was last seen on Ashcat (ironic for a gray cat) which is about 1/2 mile from our house. If you see a gray and white cat in the area please shoot me a PM.
His name is Stewart. He doesn't answer to this because, well, he's a cat.

To my wife and kids dismay no. There has been several reports of a gray cat which turned out to be an imposter. Our's is light gray and this one is dark gray.
I have to say that Natoma Station is a great neighborhood. We have received several calls and in each case the neighbor has held the same poor dark gray cat for us to come and inspect. I imagine that cat really hates us at this point.
