Does anyone know of any businesses in the Folsom area that do automotive window tinting?

I'd recommend you find an installer who carries 3M Crystalline. The film makes a large difference; this is the best I've found for heat reduction (installed a couple years ago).

Unless you're just going for cosmetics, I'd consider first finding an installer that carries this film, then narrow down your choices.

Personally, I use an installer in the Bay Area -- high quality film choices and excellent installation (ie - looks like factory glass). I used one installer up here that was decent but clearly not as professional as the one in the Bay Area (although I haven't used them in 10 years). Next time, I'll be going back to the Bay Area. For me, it's worth taking the day to make the trip down there.

If they are still around, check them out if you're interested (make sure Sidney is still the owner): http://www.automallt....com/index.html

I had my Scooby done at Tintmaster in Rancho. No complaints, nice people. They had the 3M film.

This is the first time I've had a car tinted. It's very effective at cooling down the car. I only have one complaint and it's that the defroster element in the rear window causes wrinkles that, at night, make several layers of refraction from headlights behind.
