Where do the wealthy put their money?

Do they create more jobs?

Off-shore accounts

The Global Elite Are Hiding 18 Trillion Dollars In Offshore Banks

According to shocking research done by the IMF, the global elite are holding a total of 18 trillion dollars in offshore banks. And that figure does not even count any money being held in Switzerland. That is a staggering amount of money. Keep in mind that U.S. GDP in 2010 was only 14.58 trillion dollars.

Under this current administration I'd keep my money offshore too out of fear the govt would sieze it saying profits are unfair

Tea Party doesn't care how much money an individual has, or what they do with it. They only care about how much money the government has and what they do with it.
It is not my "job" to give you a job, nor is it my job to support deadbeats (that includes ridiculous government agency employees). If I can create jobs while making money for myself, great...win-win for everyone.
You can't have one of the most powerful men in the world, one who influences policy, running around for 3.5 years castigating business and those with money and saying how they don't pay enough and expect those same entities to expand.
They didn't get that money by being foolish. They went into turtle mode to wait out the storm and see which way the axe was going to fall. That is simply smart, not greedy.
That's why the stupid "tax the rich" mantra NEVER WORKS. They simply take THEIR money, and move it someplace else. Duh.

So sad that the left has to go after the rich..... None of your business how much money they have, how they got it, or where they keep it....! Just like it's none of my business who you sleep with or what you do in your bedroom or what you choose to smoke at home. So sad the constant class warfare talking points coming from the left and the national press. This is getting old.... I respect people who work 18 hours a day for 20 years and make a lot of money due to their personal drive, hard work, and intelligence. Why do you guys on the left see this as bad...? These people are great....! And they already pay way more than their fare share in taxes....! The ones you should go after are the welfare loafers and food stamp scammers who bleed us dry... Oh, I forgot, that's your voting base....! Carry on........ Chris

The money is made by the Republicans who owned the mortgage companies, banks and asset management companies that stole all the middle classes money. It's gone, for good. It's also the money made by the pharmaceuticals, oil companies and investors who've been ripping this country off for the last 40 years. Next time you have a war to secure an oil supply, at least give the American people cheap gas. It's the least that Cheney could've done. Instead Americans died in the name of oil and we still pay $4 a gallon. Mortgages are hard to obtain b/c the banks aren't making any money from the middle class and they are too busy stealing the remaining homes from people affected by the mortgage crises.
Americans, don't just come in one color or race.

I am remiss how you call people welfare loafers? The food stamp scammers?

Please point them out. The last time I saw, the only people who qualify for welfare or food stamps are people that are seasonal skilled laborers.

Everyone else is living on the delta or stealing from the grocery stores.

LOL I wish! Nope, I'm just an average Joe that doesn't believe in class warfare.

For those whining about corporate profits...You do realize that nearly every pension plan, whether private 401 or public employee has money invested in those evil companies. If they fail (or are "penalized" for success), that money comes from your retirement. It's not so cut and dry as the rhetoric would lead you to believe.

The money was NOT made by republicans. That is just silly. Much of the money went to "money heaven" (disappeared as it was not based on tangible assets, or grossly overvalued assets).
What money was made went to folks of all political stripes.
I suppose you are unaware that Obama collected more from wall street than any other presidential candidate (by far). Wall street does not care who is in office, they contribute to both sides. Link

Ever notice how many appointees are from Goldman Sachs?

I thought Obama was supposed to be creating the jobs? Or was that just some bs to get people to vote for him? ;)

He has done a good job of selling GM to the Chinese though.... that'll help with jobs in China. Maybe Obama just forgot which country needed the jobs after he got the gig?

Detroit is alive? What's the unemployment rate in Detroit? Foreclosure rate?
