Loud Noises At The Gym

The gym is basically a personal training studio. Everyone is there doing the same work out of the day, but lifting weights according to their capabilities, and supervised by multiple trainers. It's very small quarters, the size of a basement, and it's crowded. There's an athlete, a children's and an adult program.
All of us who were there on thursday night were very aware of it, and it has become a snicker-point. Of course, it continued on Friday. I think some prefer to ignore it in hopes that it will stop. Maybe they are better than I at tuning it out. I find it to be highly distracting (and no, I'm not jealous, hardly)....even just yelling at the top of her lungs would be distracting. As I said, it is very close quarters. And I don't want to listen to some chick having a public orgasm anywhere!! It's downright awkward. And yes, there are young children in the gym when she is/was there.
I talked to the trainer who works with her, and he just shrugged his shoulders, and said everyone has a different way of handling "things." He has no intention of speaking to her about it. I'm waiting for the opportunity to talk to her (thank god she was absent tonight).
We can wear headsets while doing our cardio, but not when we are working out with the trainers, so I have no way of tuning it out.
In all my years of working out, I've never heard anyone yell so loud, and so uncontrolled, and so orgasmic-like. I completely understand groaning when pushing a heavy weight, but this is totally ridiculous.
Just wondering if this is common (hope not).
(Yea, I know, some of you dudes would really LOVE this)

Are you suggesting that I video the situation & post it for everyone's enjoyment?YouTube!
Maybe it's the same lady....do you have a name? You can PM me.I work in Rancho so I go to the 24 Hour Gym there during the week. There's a lady there that did the same thing! I was on the eliptical with my Ipod cranked and I could still hear her. I heard it once and thought it was an announcement, when I heard it again I took my earphones out...haven't seen her in a while though....heard it throughout a week or two and then she was gone. It's been a while since I've seen her.

Not surprised with your response!!!Yes! ;-)
I did think about it briefly when Deb asked, but my purpose isn't to exploit her, but I suppose to just vent a little, and find out if anyone else has ever heard something like this. So far, the local average is greater than the national average. I'd really hate for this to be a local myfolsom person (I don't think so, but it is possible!)
Now that's hilarious!!!! Thanks for the laugh!!!!!!

reminds me of that professional female tennis player that grunts loudly at every hit of her racket, some people just seem to have no respect for the people around them.
That would be all of them.

I listened to the 9 most ridiculous grunts in women's tennis , and the moaner at the gym doesn't sound like these professional female tennis players. Their grunts are too short. The moaner moans, continuously, loudly. And no, I'm not posting a video! That would be all of them.
I think the woman is doing this purposely for attention. She's been attending the gym for about 2 weeks, and just started this moaning-thing. The newbies get a lot of attention & assistance from the trainers. If you were a middle-aged, out of shape woman, in the gym for the first time, wouldn't you want some young man leaning over you, spoting you, yelling "drive it, drive it" constantly?
I totally get it that it's a hard arse work out. And she is in the very beginning stages. This is a kick arse gym. Seriously. There is no easy work out, and if they don't think you are lifting enough, they are on your case. I have DOMS within 24 hours of every session. I learned all about ice baths/showers here, and do it weekly after leg day. We work out 4 days a week.
Just saying, I get it. Totally. But I think the moaning is way over the top and unnecessary.

I doubt the moaning is for attention. It's probably just the 'thing' that helps her get through the workout. I'm sure it's hard, but you just gotta tune it out and focus on yourself, kinda like she probably is.

1. She is doing to attract the guys - I have heard guys do this to attract the gals...
2. She is moaning and grunting to keep the core solid to allow for extra push or exertion...
3. She just moans when she gets exited at seeing the guys working out...and is really having an orgasm ...
So there you have it ...
Cheers
Another great day in the adventure of exploration and sight.

Ok - I checked and there are three possibilities...
1. She is doing to attract the guys - I have heard guys do this to attract the gals...
2. She is moaning and grunting to keep the core solid to allow for extra push or exertion...
3. She just moans when she gets exited at seeing the guys working out...and is really having an orgasm ...
So there you have it ...
Cheers
Maybe she is attracted to women?
