Just heard that a construction crew hit a gas line near the high school
Students were moved to cafeteria but are now back in class.
Just FYI.
Add: Parents should be getting the auto-call thing from the school now.
Gas was smelled at 7:45. HVAC system was shut down just in case. Fire department is sticking around with meter to make sure everything is A-okay.
Mods, not sure why the topic title puts things in lower case. Should be "FHS"

I was only going by the KCRA report that said they were in the cafeteria. That makes more sense because there is no way the entire student body would fit in the cafeteria. I didn't realize it was raining this morning.

Well, after hearing my student tell me his second period classroom smelled strongly of gas because of the manhole right outside the room, I prefer him standing in the rain.
