Come see Italian design on two and four wheels. The Giuseppe Murer House Foundation is having an italian car, motorcycle and bicycle show called Italy on Wheels on Sept. 15th, 11 am to 3 pm, at the Murer House in old Folsom. There should be some wonderful vintage and modern vehicles. The event will be free and there will also be wood-fired pizza and italian beverages for sale. The Murer House museum will also be open for tours. Come on by for a visit. Please don't park in front of the neighbor's houses, but there is lots of onstreet parking nearby. www.murerhouse.org

If only all my classic Campagnolo parts were attached to their frame

put all those pieces together and roll it over. If you can't do it this year, there is always next! anyway, if you come, you may be inspired to get the tools out. I think some of the custom-built bicycles are in the $10k to $30k range! There are vintage Ducatis coming from as far as the bay area, and unusual cars I had never heard of before.

Unfortunately the frame says Schwinn and not Cinelli... all non-French high-end bikes from the 1970's used Campagnolo parts. Shimano was not a big player in the market yet.

2012 MV Agusta F4 RR

To already refined MV Agusta F4, you add even more exotic materials, reduced weight, and, above all, a 201 hp four-cylinder engine which makes the F4 RR the most powerful superbike ever built.

We've got a lot of Ducatis coming, including a 2011 Ducati Diavel Rosso. wish I could post an image, but I'm technically challenged!

I'm not organizing the vehicle side of it, but I have a partial list of the cars
Iso Lele
Ferrari 308
1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider Veloce
Ferrari 275 GTS
Lamborghini Diablo
1973 Iso Grifo
82 Fiat Spider
1979 Fiat Spider
1980 Fiat Spider

I know there are more motorcycles coming, old and new, and also custom built bicycles that are like $10k to $30k, which I can't imagine. I am also looking forward to the wood-fired pizza!

I wouldn't mind seeing the new Fiat 500 Abarth up close. I wonder if Fiat of Sacramento would be willing to send one over :)

I spoke to Cindy at the Murer House this week.

I will be bringing my Ferrari 328 to the event. I am looking forward to seeing some of the other autos and motorcycles and sampling the pizza.
