I am looking for a dentist in the area who has been around for a while. I prefer not to go dental groups (Smile Care, Gateway Dental etc) but if you know some one in of these groups who is very experienced, especially with bridges and crowns, please let me know. I am looking for some one knowledgeable in replacing bridges, and not the kind "let's try this and see what happens". Someone honest and not greedy, as some people have experienced on this forum.

Best dentist on the planet is John Noe in Walnut Grove. I know it's a drive but he's worth it. Reasonable, honest and kind.

I've been using Dr. Henifin in Diamond Springs for the past 15 years. In my experience, he's a traditional dentist and does not up-sell services or procedures that are unneeded. I've also been very pleased with the two crowns his office has done for me over those years.

His office and staff are definitely worth the 15-20 minute drive up the hill to Missouri Flat road.

We've been happy with Dr. Wood, across the street from Sutter Middle. I had a lot af major dental work as a kid so all my crowns and such have needed replacing over the years and he has done a great job. I'm a very nervious patient and they really help me through.

Dr Brett Peterson in Carmichael. 916-961-5363

Very knowledgable, patient, kind, considers all options, but does not push expensive treatment! He does his own call, and I've even met him on a Sunday afternoon when my temporary crown came off. :D:

I, too, was looking for a dentist in Folsom. I met a woman whose husband was an endodontist. I asked her if he would supply me with a list of 5 or 6 dentists in the area that he thought were the best. I took that list and compared it to the list that my insurance accepted. I was down to 3 dentists. I called all 3. One was not taking any new clients, one had rude staff and I ended up with the best dentist around! My whole family now goes to him and we all love him. I am very lucky to be able to reccommend Dr. G Curtis Croft. The Best!!

I also go to Dr. Croft (referred by my hygienist friend who temped at his office) and I'm really happy with him and his staff too!

Stay local. Broadstone Dental, Steve Longoria, Kathy Keikhan or Shaina DiMariano. Don't go to Smile Time Dental or take your kids to Make a Smile

I must chime in for Dr. Croft, also. Our family has gone to his small local office since moving to the area in 2000. At the time, my daughter had a terrible abscess on a Saturday, and I happened to catch him on the phone. He saw her immediately and didn't even charge us for the initial visit. Knowledgeable, friendly, and an all-around great dentist.

Stay away from Smile Care on E. Bidwell. They are terrible.
