Advisory: Light Rail (Gold Line) Service Disruption Between Sunrise and Historic Folsom Light Rail Stations..

Light Rail (Gold Line) Service Disruption Between Sunrise and Historic Folsom Light Rail Stations on Tuesday, September 18
Due to an overhead wire issue and a grass fire, light rail service is disrupted between the Sunrise Station and the Historic Folsom Station (effective 2 p.m.). Special shuttle buses will transport passengers to and from the affected stations during the disruption. It is estimated that the wire will be repaired by 8 p.m. this evening (Tuesday, September 18). To board buses, walk to the bus stop. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Good One ! :2thumbsup:

I am guessing the rail line is still down- saw a train stopped with its power arms down under Hwy 50 at Folsom Blvd and Light rail employees walking the tracks. Twenty or so passengers were standing on the side of the road about 100 yards up at 10 am and have not seen any trains since then.

Seriously, it would be interesting to see if crime goes down when the Light Rail is not running here.

I drove by about an hour ago and Regional Transit was still working on the lines.
