There is a new Karate Studio at 1181 Riley St, across from the aquatic center. Brandon Hubbard is wonderful with children and they become more confident and self-assured with each lesson. He has great rates and deals since its a new business. No contracts or anything like that. He taught at Natomas Station and Theodore-Judah this March- June and was great with the kids. He also teaches adults so if you were thinking of getting the kids in some extra activities, go down and meet him. You will be impressed. His phone number is 983-9211 and his website is www.hubbardkarate.com Your kids will LOVE HIM!!!!

I would also like to bring attention to my buddy Brandon's new studio. I am so excited that he has decided to open his school here and bring Ed Parker's American Kenpo down here to Folsom. Brandon comes from a great lineage of instructors. He has earned a 3rd degree black belt in the art of Limalama, a 2nd degree black belt in Kenpo Karate and is experienced in tournament sparring/fighting and forms competitions. It is an honor to vouch for Brandon as he is a wonderful person and friend- but also because he came up under (and we still learn from) the same Kenpo instructor. Our instructor's passion for teaching and attention to detail has definitely rubbed off on Brandon. Brandon teaches with both patience and enthusiasm and truly loves what he does. The art of Kenpo is very thorough, effective and good fun for all ages- men, women and children- to learn. If you are thinking about checking out the martial arts- please check out the new studio. I highly recommend it- you will be learning an awesome karate system from an awesome, honest instructor! Introductory lessons are even offered to see if it is the right fit for you or not. Check it out! :)
I like to reminisce with people I don't know
