Sweet! They had one a couple months ago and finally got around to using it last week. The food was awesome! Girasole is a nice addition to Folsom with unique menu items. I hope they survive in that cursed location!

I finally went here this weekend. It was fantastic! Great flavor! :2thumbsup:

If you are interested in checking it out, I'd suggest you go soon. I was the only customer, and the owner said he hasn't had much business lately. Too bad because it's very good.

That's tough. We went there once and it was good. But it's a bad location, in the dead-end corner of a fairly difficult-to-enter shopping center behind several bigger "pad" restaurants, and nowhere near the food court. A restaurant that small needs a location that has pedestrian traffic so people can see them and keep them in mind.

We have been there twice, and while the food was delicious, the service was soooooo slow - and we were the only ones in there! I'd like to see Girasole make it, but every time we think of going, we are on a time line (aren't we always? lol).

I think the other problem for them is that it is a couple doors down from Visconti's even though it's walking distance for me. The parking lot does get pretty packed.

I'm really not a fan of Italian..too many carbs & fat for me.

Bummer, but this is what happens when we don't support a business we like enough - problem is, there are too darn many pizza joints in this town and not all of them can survive. I bet it's the #1 turn over business here.

That's too bad. I liked them at first and enjoyed the unique variety.

I had a feeling it was on its way out. Each time I went, the toppings seemed more sparse and the quality not as good. That's the sure sign of impending doom. It's been a few months since I went because the last time was not good enough to make me crave it again.

I've never understood why businesses think that cutting back to save a few pennies is the answer for turning around a business. It has never worked.

Oh well... I'll just have to get my "unique pizza" fix at Pizza Rock when I'm downtown. *drool*

I really like Pronto Pizzeria over by the outlets.  the interior space is boring, but they make an excellent authentic Italian pizza.

Really is a bad location. I don't think many people stumble upon it. You've got to know it's there.

Best of luck to the next brave soul to invest in that spot.
