I heard that some counties are offering early voting (my mom told me & she was mad), but I think it's a great idea. I didn't see it offered on the Folsom elections website...perhaps I just missed it, but El Dorado County started offering it Oct 8.

Anyone know if this is available in Folsom?

Check your sample ballot. It should say where you can vote early. Try the back page, that's where it is on mine. In most counties it is either with a mail ballot or by going to the county elections dept. In El Dorado County that is Placerville. In Sacramento it is probably closer to downtown.

Or just wait until election day and drop off your ballot at any polling place in the county.

thanks! I didn't think of that!!! If that's what I wanted to do, I wouldn't have been looking for an early voting location.

Oh well. When i saw your post, my immediate thought was "sigh...that ain't going to happen." You'd think in a town as large as Sacramento, there'd be several drop off locations....but I forgot...we're in cowtown. :P
