I was at a clients house the other day while a Folsom PD (motorcycle cop) was working the area. He pulled up right where I was parked to watch speeders and such.
Got to talking with him (extremely nice guy) and told him how I live in central Folsom and on my particular street, we have a major speeding issue. it's 25 mph but the regulars get up to 50 & 60 sometimes even more.
It's so dangerous, I don't even let my kids play in the front at all. Anyway, I gave him my address in casual talk and for two days he has shown up on my street to monitor speeders.
Out of respect Im not going to post his name, but I cannot express how proud I am to live in Folsom, and thankful of his concern. It truly is awesome when you can express a simple concern to local city or govt at the front line so to speak and get immediate response. I don't feel the same concern could be had anywhere else in Sacramento county.
Thank you again Mr motorcycle cop.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
"Wow! What a Ride!"

Yes, thank you, motor cop, and thank you from the rest of us that live in Central Folsom for saying something. The speeding is getting really bad. It's almost like some of these drivers want to see if they can hit 60 between the stop signs. You'd think with the price of gasoline people would be a little easier on the throttle.
