On the SW corner of Oak Ave Pkwy and E. Bidwell, in the cement island crosswalk, there are 2 orange boxes tied to the traffic light poles with about a 10 ft pole sticking up and what looks like a small microphone at the top.
Any ideas what these are and what they are measuring?

I don't know what that is, but I thought I noticed something new attached to a streetlight right by the Starbucks at the corner of E. Bidwell St. and Glenn today, too.

The ones on Oak Ave and E. Bidwell are now gone! That was quick.

I was thinking it was a wireless mesh thing-y for meter reading, but why would they take it down?
Maybe they weren't counting anything and it was just temporary for signal control until they could fix something???
