Hi
I'm interested in starting up an a cappella women's show chorus in El Dorado Hills/Cameron Park/ folsom. I am working on rehearsal space and trying to measure community interest. The chorus would offer music education opportunities, performance and competition opportunities, fun and friendships. No stress,  supportive atmosphere. A cappella show chorus (think "Glee") with all vocal ranges welcome (even you ladies with low voices rejected elsewhere)! Members do not need to know how to read music, or have any prior experience, only ability to carry a tune and hold one's part against others. Fun music and hcoreography ranging from show tunes to contemporary. This is a show chorus, meaning we sing and move, we do not hold music or stand still.

If you love Glee, karaoke, or tv talent /realitiy shows, this might be just the thing for you!  It's likely the chorus would start rehearsing late Spring of 2014. If you are interested or would like more info, please email terriebari@yahoo.com

thanks!

You only need to put an item on here once. Everyone can read the one and that way we don't have multiple items

on the same subject.  I am deleting the other one.

Thanks for posting.

A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-

This new one sounds different. glee moves around, so there is choreography involved. Sounds really fun! Good luck!

We are definitely different than your typical choir. this will be an a cappella chorus with choreography and a variety of music will be sung (jazz, pop, show tunes, etc). Likely the first song learned will be Mamma Mia or similar!

I know this a women's team, but tgianco has an amazing falsetto. He was the lead soprano in his all male A Capella group "Bridge Over Trebled Waters". Please consider him.
