Although I'm not sure what role his race played in this, yes, a pervert attacked a little girl last night at some apartments on Creekside. The pervert did happen to be white.
Let's pray that the little girl recovers and that this sick bastard is brought to justice.

Another thing that upsets me is that the management of the apts didn't feel it necessary to inform us IMMEDIATELY following the attack. I didn't find out until Tuesday, and only then because another parent in the complex informed me. Until they catch this guy, my girls don't even take the garbage out alone.
Why was a 9-year-old little girl out at 9 pm on a school night, alone??????
I can't believe they waited so long to inform you! I think Monday morning should've been the appropriate time to get the word out.
I also was wondering what a 9 year old was doing out at 9pm? Why was her 14 year old brother left to watch her? Obviously, the brother was not responsible enough to watch her if she was out alone at that time of the night. It also sounds like there was more than one person who attacked her.

My daughters are a little older, but I still don't like to let them go anywhere alone - I barely let them walk to a friend's house or the park. Now I feel more justified than ever to be protective. The story about the 12 year old girl in Roseville who got grabbed by some guy didn't help, either.
I have developed the opinion that anyone who harms a child on purpose, regardless of the "severity" of it, should go to prison for the rest of their life. I mean, if someone sexually assaults a child, why should we say 5 or 6 years in prison is enough to pay for the pain and lifelong suffering of that little one? I think people would think twice about what they're doing if there was zero tolerance.
What kind of society lets this go on without putting these people away forever?!
My 2 cents...

It's small, since it looks like a screen capture off of the TV, but clear enough.
Pass it on and show it to your kids.

The scary thing is that sketch kind of looks like me. However, I'm in my mid-30s, 5-11, have a heavy build, and have a brown beard peppered with gray. I will be curious if this sketch leads to anything.

The link is from the News10 website and it gave additional info. I think all the sex offenders should be left on an island forever and then they can abuse each other. I don't think a few years in prison is acceptable considering most get released and commit similar crimes. Hopefully, the picture of the guy goes onto the Megan's law website soon and so will his address! I'm glad they make the information public. It's something they should live with for the rest of their lives.

We probably won't ever know the answer to your questions and so I wish you had not asked. This line of thought is cruel to the parent who is already suffering plenty for what her child endured and guilt, whether deserved or not. Let's stop punishing victims and keep our eye on the criminal.
