Hello

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good tutor for Physics, Calculus and Spanish subjects for Sophomores and Junior High School students.  Looking for someone to help explain the concepts more in detail rather  than just helping in getting the homework done.

Our kids can definitely use some help....

Thanks...

Try Khan Academy form videos until you can find a tutor. My son has a tutor for those subjects, but it's provided by our school (Visions in Education through SJUSD). No cost!

FHS and Vista both have peer tutoring available for I believe $10/hr. Your student just needs to go to the counseling office and get a list of those students available. My daughter used to tutor and those she helped would comment that it's often easier to learn from someone who they can relate to.
