They are doing a good job destroying the look and feel of the drive up ARC. That new landscaping is atrocious. Just thought I'd vent.

What kind of landscaping did they put in?

They tore out the grass and put in a hodge-podge of plants (many of which died) and surrounded them with bark. Ugly, sparse and commercial looking. I know our fees went up pretty substantially to pay for landscape improvements and replacement of fencing. Shouldn't homeowners have to pay half for the fencing bordering their yard and common areas? I also have heard rumors that the new signage (which is nice) was "donated." Either I have a very generous neighbor, or I suspect that was a deal from the landscape company that got the contract to re-do the grass.

Which part of ARC (north, south, smaller gated developments)?
I sure hope they don't raise fees in mine or other neighborhoods. I just rebuilt my own fence at the end of summer (small section, 50% was the gate). I just assumed I was responsible and took care of it for a few hundred bucks... half of which was a new tool . Paying someone else would have likely tripled the cost.
