North Carolina high school cheerleaders are put on probation for the rest of the year for displaying a Trump 2020 banner before a football game

  • Cheerleading squad at North Stanly High School in North Carolina were put on probation on Monday
  • They were reprimanded after holding up a Trump 2020 banner during a high school football game last month
  • The banner read: 'Trump 2020: Make America Great Again'
  • The squad was put on probation because all North Carolina high schools have a policy that prohibits students from displaying political signs

Now tell me, just 6 to 8 years ago, cheerleaders who just happened to be black, displayed an Obama political poster...?   Yes, nothing would have happened, nothing at all, nothing to see here folks.........

Always change the race, the sex, the time, the political party in  your mind and see if it still goes and makes sense....!   Nope, not this one.  Yep, but we conservatives are used to discrimination, racism, and the double standard.   Chris

The youth in America aren't totally dumb. Plenty of smart young people. All my nieces are Trump supporters. They are white. But most black youths are still stuck on *hate Trump*, apparently, from what I hear in the "unbiased" media. Why is that? Blacks still stuck on the plantation?

What is more likely: That you will changes the minds of all those who don't agree with you, OR accept them as they are, perhaps simply coming from a different place, a different level of enlightenment?

Total speculation, Chris, and maybe just a weeeeeeee bit oversensitive.
The reputation of the school is at stake; do you want to politicize everything in public life?
Better to be civil and respectful of opposing opinions.

Rules are rules. Actions have consequences...or they should. AND they should apply equally.
