In the past year there have been several businesses close down and when I inquire as to why, I've been told it is the result of owners not being able to make a profit while paying the new minimum wage.

Sadly Marie Calendar's is now gone. As well as my favorite, The Original Pancake House in Roseville.  Some of you may have visited The Elephant Bar...well it's gone.

There is little doubt that many more will follow. And no doubt you will be seeing menu prices go up more. That means many just won't go out to dinner as often. We have already cut back.

There is a lesson the liberals still haven't learned; Action always results in Reaction. Many who cried for higher minimum wages are now without jobs. And there will be more unemployed in the near future.

I've owned a small business before and I can tell you from experience...owners of businesses won't work for free. When there isn't enough profit, it's time to close down the shop.

HOW IS THAT WORKING OUT FOR YOU LIBERAL FOOLS?

Well, duh. This has happened everywhere it has been tried. Stupid utopians will never admit they are wrong, they will just say it was not implemented properly (in other words, the way THEY would run things).  Just like their excuses for socialism and communism. It has always failed, but it has just never been done right...

You'd think at some point reality would bust through their ignorance...but no. Gonna take a massive assault on their projections/feelings for reality to break through.
