I'm tired of that board diluting the forums. Go outside and play, read a book... it's just a little test to see what happens if it just... went away for a bit.

It's not going away permanently.

Our webmaster has locked the forum for the time being.

I think this is a well-needed vacation from political debate. Maybe we can concentrate on some community-building in the meantime, and enjoy the beautiful late spring weather. smile.gif

I disagree and even HIS own poll said so- so now we can report that My.folsom is now censored by one allmighty webmaster that does not even consider the results of his Own poll-

Diluted ?>>> how so - John---

Guys,

It's turned off for a little while. Who cares!? It's no big deal. John can run his site in the way he sees fit, regardless of polls...right or wrong, good or bad...it's his site.

agreed. it's bulls---. god forbid someone posts political views that aren't aligned with the Right-wing ideology. Because ultimately that's what this is all about. Question our government and you get shut-down or quashed from debate.

Way to go. Censorship in action. rolleyes.gif

hm. reminds me of another "John" that recently left the BushCo oligarchy.......

Isn't there some netiquette for that kind of activity? A simple post to let everyone know upcoming actions on the site....

I have to agree that when the conservative voices were very active in the political forum there wasn't a poll as to whether it should be shut down or any such talk.

Now that the site has more opposing views.....

Ah... the first amendment in action.... tongue.gif

P.S. Who said I wasn't already outside as I post this.... don't you guys have wireless? tongue.gif

The talk about shutting it down began as soon as the Bush-bashing was "over-the-top"...that led to more name-calling by those same people, and you know the rest....

my point exactly.

in the past weeks there has been at least one (if not more) poll as to whether or not politics "should be allowed for discussion" on this board.

at last check, it was clearly 75-80% in favor of KEEPING politics.

that's what one calls a DEMOCRACY..... but hey, just like Bush, Democracy (and Diplomacy) gets thrown out the window when one questions another's views.....

Thank dog that the Iraqi's are being given their "Democracy", while US citizens (and Folsomites) get the shaft.....
