I think it's Rod Stewart who looks like Rollin, not the other way around. He also drive a mini-cooper, so if you think you saw Rod Stewart driving a mini, it was Rollin.

And if he's driving kind of crazy, that is him for sure. At least the one time I encountered Rollin on the roads.

His wife, Debbie, sells wines here in Folsom.

Okay, I'm sure I'm going crazy here...but has anybody else seen Rod Stewart or a wannabe RS around Folsom? I was at Taqueria Mexicana yesterday and thought I saw him in there...just came in and got something and left. Weird. My friend called his dad to ask about it and he thought he'd heard of other RS sightings. So...anybody else?

I heard he was in the area scouting for a mariachi band for his next CD unsure.gif

Was just doing a Google search for Rollin after seeing his obituary in the Folsom Telegraph today. Really sad about this after seeing him around town for so many years, always brought a smile to my face. Saying a prayer for him and his family, after reading his obit and the services he was involved in have a smile believing he was a believer and is with our Father in heaven now. I am sure there are many, many Folsomites who share my sadness at the thought of not seeing our Rod Stewart lookalike anymore.

Rollin, you were a good, kind man. I'll always remember your cigar, crazy dog, and your smile. RIP Brother.......

So sad to hear of Rollins passing. He always had an easy smile and way about him. It was always fun seeing him around town and observing the looks and comments he elicited from those who didn't know better ( and even those that did). He was a character in the best sense of the word. Gone way too soon.I hate to seem nosey, but does anyone know what he passed from? I hadn't seen him around recently but he looked great last time I saw him about <a year??> ago?

Saw this thread and instantly knew who you all were talking about. My family knew him quite well and yes he was a super nice guy. Rip sir you will be missed

I was having such a nice day, now I'm sad!
Rest in Peace, Rollin, I was pleased to meet you several times in Folsom.
Thank you for brightening our days.

I remember this man. I've met this guy and his wife before (I'm a MINI Cooper fan). What a nice couple, so friendly and talkative. Sad to hear that he passed away from the same stupid cancer that took my dad. I'd see Rollin and his wife at the grocery store sometimes, & they always looked like such pleasant people.

Rollin was a great guy and a great American. He did THREE tours in Vietnam, yes THREE!. He loved his country. We'll miss you Rollin!
