I'll bet they were avoiding the ADA trap you fall into once you start making improvments.

Paint and a broom are not ADA qualifying improvements.

Drove by today and noticed that Big Dip is gone and we are getting another much needed Mexican restaurant - La Rosa Blanca.

What's worse, the end of an era or another Mexican restaurant? I can't believe this.

The previous owners needed to buy a few vowels and a can of paint. Dave had some good ideas that would have been pretty cool AND popular.

Darn, I was hoping for a good Pizza place. The Mexican restaurant must be shooting for all the overflow from the Hacienda.

That space needs a Falafel place or a good ethnic deli. Something different.

I came by there today and they were working/remodeling the place.

I don't think we need another Mexican restaurant either.

A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-

I bet Sol Azteca is has the same sentiment being right across the street.

There's been a sign with "Blanca Casa" or something like that for a while now. It looks like slow going getting it ready to open.

I think it says "La Rosa Blanca." There's a few others in the Sacramento area. They've been working on that spot for weeks now, it ought to be ready soon.

Thanks. I'm getting my houses and roses mixed up. You'd think I'd remember it. I've been by it enough times. I'd never heard of them before.

No matter what style cuisine it is , if it's good , its welcome.
