I'd be happy to see a Famous Dave's BBQ (who had threatened to come to Folsom a while back but pulled out)

Armadillo Willy's (who's Sacramento area efforts have been weak and never come close to the Bay Area locations, which IMHO has resulted in their failure in this geo)

+1 for Lucille's

Yes there's a theme of BBQ here.

On a non BBQ theme, Pinkberry.

I know a lot of people are not fans of chain restaurants, but here are a few I wish would come to Folsom:

Panera
Boudin
Cabos
Chik-fil-A
Sonic
Cheesecake Factory

What about you?

B-dubs...without a doubt. That's Buffalo Wild Wings for those not from the midwest (aka BW3).

I know they are/were supposed to take over the Black Angus space, but I haven't seen any action there in months and now I see they are opening a restaurant in Citrus Heights by the Sunrise Mall. Mmmmm, wings.

There was an Armadillo Willy's near the Orangevale/Folsom border a few years ago. Now it's O'Conner's Santa Maria BBQ.
And I hear that Pinkberry is coming to town, I think at the Palladio. I don't know the time frame though.

Drove by the old Black Angus yesterday.... completely gutted and opened up front where the doors used to be..... something is going on in there.

Lucilles is great but for great BBQ, Sierra Smokehouse BBQ is just up the road. He needs to improve the sides (i.e. fresh green beans, fresh mashed potatoes, homemade mac n cheese, fresh corn on cob etc) but the meat can not be beat.

Can't think of a need for more breakfast/lunch cafes in Folsom with GMC, Waffle Barn, Sutter Street Grill, $5 Diner, Lake Forest Cafe, Toast, IHOP, Mimi's already serving good food.

Nation's.

The Counter... so far the best burger I have had.

I think a Cheesecake Factory would be great here in Folsom. I believe it would have a great chance of success.
A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-

Wow! Really? Is this the best we can come up with... the same old retreads already in Roseville? Pass.

Here's some that are a little more outside the box:

Gordon Biersch (need some garlic fries... good ones)
Original Joe's (Italian comfort food served in a 50's NY-style restaurant)
Left Bank Brasserie
Momo's (across from the Giants park... PacBell/ SBC/ AT&T Park... whatever!)
Fogo de Chao (Brazilian BBQ)

Pinkberry will be coming to Palladio - Movies first, which apparently attracts restaurants, which I hope will attract retail leases.

Thanks
