What are dildos? It is not in the standard dictionary, and I don't have a dictionary of slang. If anyone answers, please do not be too graphic. I realize we are talking about one of the possible "back room" items.

Look it up on Yahoo and pick one of about 10 million web sites. If still confused cross reference "rubber dong". hypocritesmiley.png

I am not down with the "over 18" part of the store. I don't like to think that Porn, Dildo's and blow up dolls are available on Sutter Street.  Besides, those "over 18" areas are as monitored as those in the video stores. The lingerie available is just a classy front to a porn shop.

Don't look around too much in walmart. You may not like what you find. And there are no over 18 areas in walmart.

It will die a natural death, when folks get tired of talking about it.

Tomorrow night the owners will be presenting at the City Council meeting.

If you support the Dufour family, show it by being there. I will be next door at the Folsom Healthy Families Forum, or I'd be there myself.

All detractors who are truly concerned about our kids, please be at the Healthy Families Forum. You will learn that there is a greater threat to our community, and that there is something you can do about it.

Is Steve getting ready to run for public office...? Somehow this thought just ran through my mind.

NO WAY! And go through the crap that I see the Mayor having to deal with everyday? Even the candidates get grilled. I can just see it, people digging up my old posts; "He's pro-porn!', 'He hates America!', 'He hates dogs!', 'He's racist!', 'He doesn't believe in God!', 'He's gay!'...

No thanks. Besides, it's too late to throw my hat in the ring. We vote next week.

Funny, I've always been this way, speaking out, getting involved, and giving the long version of an explanation. Some in my family call me 'the mayor'. I once had one of my sisters ask me a question, adding, 'don't answer it like you're running for office'.

Public service does interest me, but I don't have political experience, am too sensitive to withstand the mud-slinging, am too broke to pay for a campaign, too reluctant to walk neighborhoods (besides, I might get shot) too committed to my family, work, and working out, so I don't have time.

No, I get involved because there are things that matter to me. Safety, security, giving kids a chance to be kids, being good to one another, enjoying our precious few years on this planet.

I don't think defending a lingerie shop will win me many supporters, either.

I can see myself serving on a city commission some day, but not running for public office.

Why, you gonna vote for me?

I am looking forward to getting chewed out in person on Nov 5th for all my posts here rofl.gif
