Thanks Dave!

I wasn't offended by her comment, she has a right to her opinion. I'm just trying to understand her reasoning.

I'm 99.99% sure I won't be running. I'm going to support somebody else who probably has a better chance of winning and then would give us a voice with a proven track record of asking tough questions and won't pucker up and kiss up to the land owners on S50.

I hope everybody realizes how important it is to have someone who is going to represent the people N50 on issues S50 on the council!

Robert, from what you just said, I guess it won't be Michael Gordon?
A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-

I won't be supporting Michael Gordon in this election. I don't have any issues with him, but I just dobn't think this is the time for him. I would prefer him over Jeff Starskey, but I don't think he can beat Jeff. I'm sensing he may NOT get the same supporters this go around.

In the last election I wanted a new person on the council and was anticpating Kerri would be the most vulnerable, so I was willing to support Michael. I learned that Steve M and Andy M really do try and do what is best, even though I disagree with them at times.

I want someone who is willing to ask the tough questions with development. I don't sense that with any of our current council members, but Steve M, Andy & Eric are more receptive to listening and less likely to interfer on the developers behalf.

Having an experienced city manager sure makes a difference as well.

I dodn't like old Leslie's comment either. I considered running but thought I would get the same old man crap that they are tossing at mccain.

If it did though the developers would have to romance me not only with the signs but with cases of geritol.

hey guys -
here's a thread those of you following the local election may like:

http://www.tomatopag...showtopic=20042

Basically, I want your questions for candidates, so I can report back their answers. What specifically would you ask them if you had the chance? Use that thread to add it in and you can.
