1. yes u can.
2. it's a great option, but depend on the times that people come. this is what we can do - wait until 7:30 then order so that we can order in "pool of monies".
4. Commies just go up to the cash register and announce that "I am a communist and I want my free pizza", then you will automatically get on.
5. No , this is not a celebration party for Bush, as much as I would like it to be.

Cybertrano:

Some questions I have about this shin-dig........

1. Can I come??? (I love pizza--especially pepperoni) wub.gif

2. How are we gonna do this?  Pool our monies and buy a dozen pizzas?  huh.gif

3. And, who are we gonna call for pizza delivery?  Round Table (best tasting, but expensive) or Dominos (12 miles away, near Mather, and out of delivery range) or Papa Murphy's (we'll need a few ovens!!!)?  ohmy.gif

4. Are you gonna make the Communists wait in long lines for their free pizza?  rolleyes.gif

5. (Now, be honest!!) Is this REALLY gonna be a Bush Re-Election Celebration Party?  usa.gif

This is a good idea, as long as you folks don't leave too early. We like to accomodate as many people as possible, ya know like the Dem. party - make everyone happy smile.gif

I can change the time of room reservation to 6:30 .

QUOTE(forumreader @ Sep 18 2004, 08:53 PM)
Maybe those of us with little ones could come early (6:00/6:30-ish), and start the kids on cheese pizzas.  (I know that my 3 year-old can't wait until 7pm to eat dinner, and he turns into a pumpkin at the stroke of 8pm.)  Families who need to leave early could at least enjoy a bit of the gathering.

What do you think, Cybertrano?

I'm starting a new thread about best pizza... this is veering off course. It will give me a chance to test out some of the new features on the board too - everything should get moved over!

You might have a bigger turn out if you send an e.mail to everyone's id..... they may not log on often enough to see it, but may read their e.mail.... just some food for thought... biggrin.gif

1. thanx cloud for bringing this up. we do this mass emailing every year when we have an event.

2. John - i would like a mass emailing ONE MONTH ahead so that people can schedule it way ahead of time. Two weeks is not enough.

3. I am working in Downtown Sacramento and it's very hard to get pizza joints' phone numbers to call up for reservation. So, can you geeks please provide me a list of phone numbers so that I can call ASAP.

The phone numbers I am interested in are:

Round Table (in Broadstone)

Folsom Family Pizza

What else do I miss?

ok, I'll get an email out in a week or so to all the members so they know about the pizza party and let them know about the new board if they are not already aware of it.

Let me handle the communication though, I have to do it via our new administrative settings from the new board! smile.gif

Ok, I just called Folsom Family Pizza and made reservation for a room on the 5th of November at 6:30 pm.

The dude who took the reservation said we have to share the room with other customers.

I agree. Isn't that the point of a reservation? You "reserve" a space for a group... we-re going to have 30-40 people there most likely.

Ok John, then I will call Round Table Broadstone to make reservation. I think we just need better planning on our part to get the table to ourselves.

As I recalled, the last time Round table gave me the room BUT they did not block off the room for us. This time we just need to go there early and ask them to reserve AND block off the room.
