anyone having problems with getting your cars broken into? i hate to say it but the racial profile has begun along with looking sideways at some of the neighborhood punk @#$ wana B's with the hat turned sideways.
Not sure what race has to do with it, particularly since no one has witnessed the crimes nor captured the perpetrators.
Auto burglaries are usually crimes of opportunity, committed kids or young adults, usually locals, who know the areas and can hit the cars and run home.
They are usually, therefore, of the same racial makeup of the neighborhood.

i tend to disagree due to the fact of the whole racial makeup in the prison system - but yes i agree with the whole neighborhood kids comment. i am being honest when i say that i do see "those" walking on folsom - auburn
that dont look like they belong. i have "witnessed" some of "those" walking near the theft site and did give a discription to law enforcement. "they" also left a hair stain on the car window, as they were peaking in, consistent with "that type" of makeup. guess i will have to be a little more cautious. i am fustrated with the theft however - as my window(s) were smashed and my daughters dvd player was stolen along with various other items. funny thing is that the dvd player was underneath my bible.

Nothing personal against the victims, but people who have garages should clean them out and put their automobiles in them ~!

they could have a thing on tv that would be a cross between the lottery draw and that show deal or no deal. they could line up 10 convicted thieves and each could pick a suitcase and one out of the ten would go to the hand chopper. I figure the guy with no hand would go then on some kind of welfare so letting nine go would still scare them and the would be burglar would maybe think twice about breaking into a house or car.
hows that for learning from other cultures and taking and old practice into a potential hit reality show

Not breaking into your car...
If you look around at the kids at Folsom High, many of them have the "suburban" gangster look. I wish we could get some kids from south Sac for a month or something.

Hey! I'm from south sac and have never been arrested or stolen anything. Geez! The generalizations on this board are out-of-control! Please use the phrase "some, NOT all," so I know you aren't talking about me personally.

OK, we should get SOME kids from south Sac...I go to the Greenhaven area every week and I don't see anything to bad there, but when I hit Land Park and Stockton it gets a little worse. An old classmate dressed up in all blue (in support of FHS) and went to McClatchy for a soccer game. He got beat up...anyways, I'll stop here cause I think I'm getting a little off topic.

We had an attempted burglary today on our home. We live in the broadstone area (where Riley and Oak meet). Our neighbor saw the woman and thought she was our maid (we don't have one). This woman spoke to another neighbor that was walking her dogs and seemed very comfortable in her surroundings. Please keep your eyes open and don't hesitate to call the non-emergency line if you are suspicious of someone. We have contacted Folsom Police and filed a report. They also encourage you to call if you see anything different.
thanks
