I'm looking at a couple of houses in this area. How's the neighborhood?

I don't know much about School Street. It's so long, I would imagine you have to take each block as it comes. Avon, however, is a quiet street, not a through street really, so you don't get much traffic on it. All nice old houses, good starter homes especially. I'm pretty sure they would all have real brick fireplaces and hardwood floors. Reasonable size yards. I have friends who have lived there and liked it. Quiet neighborhood. Two or three houses for sale too.
Knowing the past helps deciphering the future.

Thanks! We drove by the one on School yesterday and wasn't too impressed. Avon looks better. Do you know much about Ruth Court?
