Folsom Historic District Commission Special Meeting to Consider Streetscape Plan

The Sutter Street Streetscape Conceptual Plan proposes a way to enhance the commercial district, based on the shared values that the Historic District has a special character and personality that must be retained.

The meeting held Wednesday is to be continued Friday

One of the speakers at the meeting was Jeff Ferreira-Pro. This is what he said.

Historic District Revitalization Project Manager Addresses Historic Commission

If you are interested, please attend the Special meeting Friday October 5th at 5pm in the City Council Chambers. There are speakers for and against the proposal. I won't be there, so it would be good if someone can take notes for another story - I will be in Davis.

The Historic District Commission passed the Conceptual Plan with one dissenting vote.


Next, it was on to the City Council, on 23rd October 2007:

Folsom Streetscape Concept Passes Council Approval, Unanimously
