For my fellow motorbike enthusiasts:
The 5th Annual Santa Claus Toy Run, sponsored by Renegade Classics Sacramento and Cache Creek Casino will be held tomorrow at 8:00AM. Meet at the Renegade Classics store (6758 Folsom Boulevard). Cost is $20.00-- plus one new (unwrapped) child's toy.

A great event benefitting local kids.

I wish I'd signed on sooner to see this!

My club, The Burgundy Topz, does an independent toy run, scooters only. We've tried the other "big" toy runs in the past but most there were not friendly and didn't want us around. It was usually the "badass" weekend warrior types. All the real bikers loved that we were there.

And for those brave enough to manuever frosty roads North of Auburn...one of the best community-spirited Toy Runs (in it's 16th year, and one of my personal favorites):

Nevada County Food and Toy Run: Saturday, December 8th, at 9:00 am. Meet at the Eric Rood Center (Sheriff's Office).

Now that I have time and inclination and fair warning, my bike is broke! it's not fair.
