I asked this same question about a week or two ago, and someone replied that they were going to be apartments.

I was curious also. They are building such massive rock retaining walls. It seems like Iron Point is turning into just about all apartments.

Remember when we were complaining that South Folsom was getting the brunt of all the "low income housing"? Now you see why we were complaining.

Farley, I called the city planning department and got the following information.
They are building 2 story condos on that corner. The area will be called "VESSONA"
At least 15% of the housing there is or will be affordable housing.

Good idea, as it will not get better only worse if the developers next to FHS get their way. Plus the new builds behind Safeway of Apratments or condos.

Didn't someone also start a thread on the possibility of building an extension to the railway along Iron Point road?

on a related note: does anyone know what is being built on Iron Point, near Bidwell. Not the corner lot, where they are building a Fat's restaurant, but instead the building right behind it that is still a 'shell' (also behind Wendy's & KFC).....
