I beg to differ. While I would not say that it is great pizza, I have had much worse.

Me too, lots of fun memories at the one in Millbrae where I grew up, back in the days when getting away with buying a pitcher of beer prior to the age of the 21 was pretty easy.. pizza was decent not the worst certainly not the best here in Folsom.. Hey I finally tried Chicago Fire and it was AWESOME.. yummmoooo

I haven't had Straw Hat pizza in years, but when I did it was pretty tasty. I'm going to stay positive and give it a try when it opens. Businesses opening in this economy need all they help they can get. I'd rather not see the space stay empty.

Chicago Fire is in a class by itself. You cannot compare it to Straw Hat, Round Table, etc.

I have fond memories of the Straw Hat Pizza at Rockridge in Oakland/Berkeley. It was this huge old wood building, dark and cavernous inside and they had a movie screen where they played old movies, 3 Stooges, WC Fields,etc....and the video games and the mechanical pony.
Boy, that takes me back
