OK, meat isn't always thought as the healthiest of foods, but it is a staple in most americans diet, so I'm curious what people like.

Bummer, I get only 3 questions.
I would rather be Backpacking

I used to love eating meat. Prime rib, lamb chops, short-ribs, ribs of any kind, burgers, leg of lamb, it was all good. Was not raised on steaks, so it was never really my thing, although I do like them.

Now, I watch my cholesterol so I eat very little of it in comparison. I'm not a vegetarian, but I eat vegetarian quite a often. Tonight was tofu with spinach, bean sprouts and brown rice in a sweet soy type sauce. Quite good.

I do likesta do ribs a couple times a year, Superbowl being one of those times.

I love the same meat foods actually too much. Has the change in diet made a small, moderate or significant correction in your cholesterol scores?

I'm probably biased on the first question, since we eat more chicken than anything, and have come to eat a lot of turkey-based substitute meats at home (turkey-sausage, turkey-bacon, and ground turkey). It's a love hate relationship, since I cannot stand the taste of re-heated chicken.

I had a vegetarian/vegan girlfriend once, which pretty much made me one at home. But moderation was was my guide over idealism...

I really love the flavor of Marant's summer and spiced sausages...

A significant one, though I'm due to get my numbers checked this month to be sure. I don't recall what it was when it first happened, but the nurse was pretty amazed.

If you don't eat your meat, how can you have any pudding?
In the immortal words of Jean Paul Sartre, 'Au revoir, gopher'.

I have good BBQ whenever I want it. There's my triple seasoned, twice cooked, beef short ribs just for starters.

Texas West gets some pretty high ratings, I find them OK, sometimes a little dry for my tastes, but good enough I return occassionally.

Back Forty up in Shingle Springs ain't bad either.

What do you consider "good" BBQ?
