The day after the article about Jessica ran in the Folsom Telegraph I received an email from Stacie, the manager of Cupcake Craving here in Folsom. She explained that she had read about Jessica and wanted to know what she could do. She offered to donate gift certificates to the silent auction, as many as I wanted! I happened to have a "cupcake craving" the next day so I stopped in the shop to sample their goods. While in the shop I introduced myself to Stacie and she proceeded to list all the things they could do for the fundraiser! She offered to supply mini cupcakes to be served as dessert for the dinner as well as a number of gift certificates to use in the raffle and auction! I felt guilty accepting so much, but she said that I wasn't asking - she was offering! Amazing! Stacie could not have been nicer and the cupcakes we got were delicious!

Times are tough, but it's businesses like Cupcake Craving that we need to survive in Folsom. Stacie proved to me that businesses to care and want to be a part of the community. On top of all her donations, I got an email today from her offering to drive the cupcakes to the event and set them up on a display!!!
